I’ve been tagged!

Good day everyone!

I’ve been tagged, officially tagged that is by Cindy.  I’ve only had one or two tags but they were email ones.  I’m not real sure on how to make the tag a link yet…hmmm, I’ll have to figure that one out.

Seven Things You Might Not Know About Me

1. I’ve been two times before now…Since, I’ve been in a lot more christ-like atmosphere (the past 8 years) I’m embarrassed to admit this to some of my new friends.  Both my past marriages were abusive, emotionally, and I bought the first husband a bus ticket and sent him back home to his moma where he never should have left from.  The second husband slowly became abusive after going out on the road as a truck driver, I later found out he was having an affair, and I know from my studies that’s probably what caused him to be an angry and bitter person, that he still is today.
2. I’ve always wanted to own my own coffee/reading cafe and have a print shop.  I am a published author of poetry and inspirational writings, and have been since I was 17.
3. When I used to smoke, I was such a control-freak….oh, one of the things you might not know about me, is that I used to smoke, drink and use illegal drugs, that all changed in 1989!  When I used to smoke I would never allow myself to smoke before 2pm and then I wouldn’t allow myself to smoke over 5 cigarettes a day!   I was poor and I knew I could afford to buy another pack every two weeks when pay day came.  I never let myself buy more than one pack of cigarettes…control freak here!
4. I was basically raised by my mother alone…my dad was in the military, GO MARINES! for 30 years and then went into the ministry for 8 years before he died.  I’ve always thought my MOM was the GREATEST mom in the world, and I still do but I always regretted that she and my dad didn’t teach us about relationships and s*xual things in a marriage…I may not have gotten married at 18.  I firmly, literally believed that if I had s*x before marriage I would literally go to Hell, right that moment and when I got married I was scared to do anything for three weeks afterwards, because I just knew I would be struck dead and go to Hell that moment.  Stupid, uh?
5. I stay up until around 4am every night so I can have my study/research time and do web designing.  I also email back and forth with some of the other mothers from the co-op during the night too….betcha didn’t know some of them are doing what I do!
6. I’ve been out of the United States and into Canada, Nova Scotia and man it is so BEAUTIFUL there!  I would like before I leave this world to take my daughter and my husband there someday.
7. I was raised on the beach but I despise the summer season, because I get sun poisoning and terrible headaches from the being in the sun…no, sunglasses don’t help.  I just hate the heat too, I’d really prefer to be trampling through the snow and living in Alaska where it’s cooler.
