Memory Verse: 1 Timothy 4:15 (NIV)
Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.
Please try to learn our memory verse this week. We will be sharing a new verse every week and hope that you will store them in your hearts and find a special joy in His words.
For this week’s assignment we are supposed to tell how we keep energized so we can get it all done? bouncy music? treat it like a workout? Do you use a schedule? a housekeeping binder system? luck of the draw system?.. or is this an area where you need encouragement? Do you need God’s help to keep order and beauty in your dwelling place? Take this week to tell us how You diligently keep going with your housekeeping chores. (slogan by Energizer Batteries)

This is easy for me. Our family does all the housework and yard work together. Many hands make light work! Actually, it’s not as easy as it seems…My favorite way to clean house is to turn on music (preferably Big Band) as loud as I can stand it to clean by. I used to be so neat and tidy with everything, but after my mom passed and I went through several very traumatic events I started having anxiety (which means fear) and I also started getting overwhelmed with things that I never used to be bothered by. I don’t have a verse picked out yet, but I do know that in the Bible it says, “Do not fear” 365 times. I also don’t have any pictures this week either. Here is a fun video to watch and help you clean house by….NO! I’m not that old yet…If you’ve been going to my hsb site please note that I’ll be shutting that site down within the next week, after I transfer all my posts and pictures.

Love the clip…I like big band songs. Like the new blog too. Many hands do make light work and lots of laughs too. When we are all together doing something, someone will end up doing something that has us in stitches (on purpose or just by accident).
Many hands do make light work!! Thanks for sharing!!
Lovelovelove the clip! I’ll be singing Chattanooga Choochoo all day…and making up words since I don’t know them. I enjoy Big Band, too…it brings out a different side of me. I’ve never tried cleaning by it, tho!
Thx for stopping by my blog and trying to convince me our school room “isn’t that messy.” heehee

Thanks for the comment! I can’t wait to have the help from the kids, but I don’t think a 4 year old or the 1 year old could clean the toilets for me.
