A Daily Reminder

The Lord has placed special gifts and talents within each of us and has given every believer the promise that they can accomplish great things throughout their life. We are to recognize how special we are and know that in each of us is instilled an unfulfilled destiny that is waiting to take shape and accomplish that which God Almighty has intended. If you are feeling discouraged because you think you have nothing special to offer this world, be encouraged and know that God has great things instilled within your spirit that has yet to be realized and accomplished. Recognize that you are special and have many gifts within you that need to get out of your heart and into this world where you can make a positive impact on humanity.

For I know the thoughts I think towards you, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me and ye shall go and pray unto me and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.(Jeremiah 29:11-13)

And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:2-3)

A Special Thank You:

In the Nook…

Recently I posted an article with the blog inserted and was asking for prayer for a little child  by the name of Sean.  He is 6-7 and has cancer.   Some of the teenagers on HSB joined along with me in praying for Sean and I’m glad to say that according to his family’s latest post he’ s coming along fine, took the bone marrow transplant very well, and his blood count is closer to what it should be, not on the higher, more dangerous level.

The following young people stepped up and commented to me that they would like to pray for Sean, some even added the picture of Sean to their blogs.  I’m sure there were others that I am not aware of, but I wanted to thank the ones I do know of first:

Nathaniel – Even though he was new to HSB and had a hard time posting the picture, you never gave up!

Blogboy – Thanks for the prayers for Sean, I don’t have a special award or banner to offer you, sorry!

Totustuus- Thanks for all the prayers and continued support you’ve shown.  Any girl would be blessed to be your friend.

Jocelyndixon- Your prayers are always appreciated and I feel if there’s a concern for anyone you would have love and compassion for them.

This all shows that good character is only a prayer away, a decision away!  Thanks to any of you who added Sean to your prayers and I hope not to offend you by not mentioning your names.  Have a wonder-filled day!

Nancy
