A Movie and A Poem
This is a poem I wrote last night about my daughter. She was watching the movie, A Boy In Striped Pajamas, which is a fantastic movie about the Holocaust. If you haven’t seen the movie it’s very good, if you haven’t watched your children’s eyes, you should. Have a blessed and wonderful day!
Sixteen…
Innocent
A girl in dresses and bows
The tomboy in her will always show
A girl with soft voice and bright eyes
Hair drifting slowly upon her shoulders
Smile lines begin to rise
Slowly a young woman
Though life intercedes
Sixteen…
Fleeting moments passing
While her life comes aglow
A girl yet a young woman
God’s treasures bestowed

My Friend Cathy

Beautiful poem Nancy! You always have a way with words.
Sorry I have been out of touch with you. I have SO much going on. I have a lot of business right now, and can’t seem to keep it all organized.
God Bless you my friend!

Hi, Nancy~
Kiddo and I just started reading The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. We are combining History/Language Arts/Reading together with this. We are on chapter 8 now. When we are finished reading it, we are going to watch the movie. It is my desire to take a field trip to The Holocaust Museum in Washing, DC when we are finished. Wouldn’t it be great if you guys could come here and we could go together? :> )
Blessings, sweet friend~
