In the Nook…Originator of the Saturday Psalm and Praise

Psalm 113

 1  Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.

 Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.

 3  From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’s name is to be praised.

 4  The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

 Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,

 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

 7  He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

 8  That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.

A song that’s been  on my mind very heavily this week is what brought me to this chapter of Psalms.  The song, How Great Thou Art is the one I’m writing about.  Actually that song is always on the tip of my tongue!  This week I decided to do that song and this Psalms because we should always praise God in song and in worship!  Normally I would make the YouTube thingy very small so as not to take away from the lyrics or the verses that I’m writing about; however, this time I’ve given you a large screen because I feel the song is what this chapter is talking about.  On this video is also Dolly Parton, Sandi Patti, Elvis Presley, Loretta Lynn, Alan Jackson and many more singing How Great Thou Art.  God is so good~!
