Beauty after Tragedy: After the Rains
The rains came for two days
flooding filled the land
playgrounds shut down
people looked on in amazement
then it stopped and trees drank it up
and on the third day the sun shone through
After the clouds opened up and the rains came, the land overfilled with the water. As beautiful as the water looked in some places, people were hurt, killed, and left without homes. Tragedies fill our lives when we least expect it, but the Lord remains; He’s the beauty after all the tragedy that we face.
