A Daily Reminder

The Lord has placed special gifts and talents within each of us and has given every believer the promise that they can accomplish great things throughout their life. We are to recognize how special we are and know that in each of us is instilled an unfulfilled destiny that is waiting to take shape and accomplish that which God Almighty has intended. If you are feeling discouraged because you think you have nothing special to offer this world, be encouraged and know that God has great things instilled within your spirit that has yet to be realized and accomplished. Recognize that you are special and have many gifts within you that need to get out of your heart and into this world where you can make a positive impact on humanity.

For I know the thoughts I think towards you, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me and ye shall go and pray unto me and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.(Jeremiah 29:11-13)

And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:2-3)

BFS #1 & #2

In the Nook…

I have my first school assignment to do:

Why do I blog/journal?  Actually, I never dreamt I’d be a blogger!  I started because a friend at our homeschool co-op sent me to her blog On Our Journey Westward and when I almost gave up on it my three teen “blogger friends” kept encouraging me…they were Eric, Sylvia, and Jocelyn.  Thanks guys!  Now I blog because I enjoy the time that I have to myself and I love making new templates!

My dream place to blog would have to be two choices, (1) by the ocean and (2) in the Tuscany Valley, Italy!  I’ve always dreamt of going to Italy and maybe God has that in store for me someday!

   1. What time do you usually blog? I usually blog late at night when my family is asleep, that’s really the only time I can be alone with my thoughts and not have kids reading over my shoulder.

   2. What is your favorite drink?  My favorite drink is WATER but I like to have Sprite when I’m in town running errands or go to a dinner.

   3. What is your favorite book?  My favorite book — well, I’m not much on reading anything unless it’s a Biography but the book that helped me to see that I need to have Christ in my life again, besides the Bible, would have to be one that was written by Iyanla Vanzant called Yesterday I Cried it was the most inspirational for me!  My other favorite book would be The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom, Little Women (thanks Mom for making us read that in grade school!), The Lion, Witch, and The Wardrobe (the first book I fell in love with) and Charlotte’s Web.

   4. What is your favorite dessert?  I don’t really like sweets that much, but my favorite dessert would probably be my mom’s homemade Banana Pudding, but she’s no longer living so I have to make it myself.

5.  My favorite scripture that has helped me to grow and to recently helped me to continue to grow is Psalm 37.  It’s on my Saturday Psalm and Praise at this link.

Here’s where I’d love to escape to sometime…I think it speaks volumes all by itself.  Don’t you want to just breathe nice and slow and take in the glow of the moonlight…..Ahhhhhh…

Thank you and May You all Be Blessed.
