A Daily Reminder The Lord has placed special gifts and talents within each of us and has
given every believer the promise that they can accomplish great things
throughout their life. We are to recognize how special we are and know
that in each of us is instilled an unfulfilled destiny that is waiting to
take shape and accomplish that which God Almighty has intended. If you are
feeling discouraged because you think you have nothing special to offer
this world, be encouraged and know that God has great things instilled
within your spirit that has yet to be realized and accomplished. Recognize
that you are special and have many gifts within you that need to get out of
your heart and into this world where you can make a positive impact on humanity.
For I know the thoughts I think towards you, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me and ye shall go and pray unto me and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.(Jeremiah 29:11-13)
And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:2-3)

Living and Learning I think she was afraid to love sometimes. I think it scared her. She was the type to like things that were concrete, like the ocean. Something you could point to and know what it is. I think that’s why she always struggled with God. And I think that’s why she also struggled [...]
Living and Learning “I miss you when something really good happens, because you are the one I want to share it with. I miss you when something is troubling me, because you are the one who understands me so well. I miss you when I laugh and cry because I know that you are the one that [...]
Living and Learning This is a story that I had tucked away in some old files for a few years and wanted to share it:
It all depends on the way you look at things. One day a father and his rich family took his son to a trip to the country with the firm purpose to show [...]
Living and Learning Abstinence without purity is a challenge to achieve, since purity in itself promotes abstinence in a healthy and purposeful way. Abstinence – abstaining from sex as the media calls it – in itself is challenging, especially in today’s society. The media tells us abstinence is hard to achieve and that we are weak minded [...]
Living and Learning The distant sound of whirring and the foot pedal up and down on the floor. The sliding sound of scissors on the table as pieces of fabric were cut to embellish our bodies. These were the fabrics that wove our life together. My mom would sit at her sewing machine sewing all the clothing [...]
Living and Learning Disclaimer- I don’t necessarily agree with this author’s chosen lifestyle but I do love this poem she wrote.
Yesterday I Cried
I came home, went straight to my room, sat on the edge of my bed, kicked off my shoes, took off my coat, and I had myself a good cry.
I’m telling you, I [...]
Living and Learning How do you keep Christ in Christmas? Well, since Christ never went out of Christmas in our home that’s not hard to answer. We keep Christ in Christmas by being thankful for what we do have and knowing that we wouldn’t have each other or any thing in our lives without Him. We’ve never [...]
Living and Learning This is a poem I wrote last night about my daughter. She was watching the movie, A Boy In Striped Pajamas, which is a fantastic movie about the Holocaust. If you haven’t seen the movie it’s very good, if you haven’t watched your children’s eyes, you should. Have a blessed and wonderful day!

Living and Learning Nashville –
It’s been a week since Kelsey and I returned home from our trip to Nashville. We were helping Cyndi Kinney at the convention and at a seminar afterwards in Memphis! It was truly a great experience and gave me the time to learn more about her family’s products and watch as she presented [...]
Living and Learning
I’m not a doctor or nurse so I’m writing strictly from my own experiences. A few things I have noticed about being menopausal:
~Anxiety can be worse than your worst nightmare! There’s such a fine line in the feelings involved in that and the symptoms of a heart attack. ~Energy seems non-existent at times. [...]
Living and Learning Memory Verse: Genesis 20:13 and it came about, when God caused me to wander from my father’s house, that I said to her, ‘This is the kindness which you will show to me: everywhere we go, say of me, “He is my brother.’””
Introduction: Trusted Everywhere (Duracell Batteries) Easy Week. It was supposed to be [...]
Living and Learning I am from far and distant shores of giant oceans, balmy winds, and hot summer nights, from Little Women, Charlottes Web, Hans Christen Andersen, and The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe story books and The Blue Angels Aerobatic Team practicing overhead and the sonic booms caused by the Military planes flying past.
I am from [...]
