Ever wanted some holiday links for lessons?

I got this idea because I wanted to find some really good resources for homeschooling through the holidays and could only find a few things but most of them involved the modern-day Christmas with presents, toys, Santa, and all the things I didn’t really want. I was thinking more of the first Thanksgiving and the true meaning of Christmas. I always love hearing bells jingling so I thought up this idea and made a nice looking banner for it. If you want to join in you can just save the picture for your blog to your hard drive, please, instead of picking up a link that may not work for you. Add some of your favorite links and sign your name to my Mr. Linky below so everyone can join in on the fun. I thought I’d keep this up until the end of November since most people will be busy with family through the Thanksgiving holiday at least. Another Award

In the Nook…

I recently got a second award, much to my surprise! It’s called the “Spirit of Christmas Award”. I hesitated in putting it up because I’m not sure how Cindy and Tamara (on 11-30) think I am so deserving of it, but I appreciate the thought and being recognized in a such special way. I guess now that I need to pass it on to a couple of blogger friends, so I’m choosing to pass this on to Melissa, Tamara, Tiany, Mary, and Lynn

A Blogoversary Party

On December 9th, I will have been officially blogging for 3 full years! Wow, it’s a bit embarrassing in a way to think that I’ve been able to chat virtually on a computer screen almost every day for 3 years, but I have been blessed by so many friends in return.

I’ve often referred to all my readers as my blogger “Angel” Friends and so I’m going to give away something special to commemorate my ‘Blogoversary’!

A very special original Build-A-Bear named “Angel Heart Bear” and stuffed with love by me, Training Hearts!!!

She comes complete with a Birth Certificate dated the same as my “blogoversary” date of December 9th!

This will be done by random drawing on December 9th, 2007 at 9:02pm EST (the same hour/minute 3 years ago that I posted my first entry!) Here’s what all you have to do to be entered into the contest.

“One last thing that I want to share ………. While I was getting this precious bear made, I was sharing my story of losing our baby. The lady shared back with me that Build-A-Bear will take special treasures and stuff them inside a bear as a memorial to a lost baby or child. ::cry:: ::cry:: If you know someone that has lost a baby/child this may be something special to pass on. This lady even explained to me that she has placed an urn with ashes of a sweet stillborn baby.
