 The Lord has placed special gifts and talents within each of us and has given every believer the promise that they can accomplish great things throughout their life. We are to recognize how special we are and know that in each of us is instilled an unfulfilled destiny that is waiting to take shape and accomplish that which God Almighty has intended. If you are feeling discouraged because you think you have nothing special to offer this world, be encouraged and know that God has great things instilled within your spirit that has yet to be realized and accomplished. Recognize that you are special and have many gifts within you that need to get out of your heart and into this world where you can make a positive impact on humanity. For I know the thoughts I think towards you, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me and ye shall go and pray unto me and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.(Jeremiah 29:11-13) And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:2-3)

In the Nook… We’ve had a very productive day. Gerald and I got up at 7 and started canning tomatoes, red and yellow, we canned cabbage for sauerkraut and I chopped red and yellow peppers to go in the freezer. Total we got 6 qt. jars of sauerkraut (from one head of [...] In the Nook…I went to church on Sunday and several people called me Mother Goose…what! I hadn’t even told anyone that I was incubating three goose eggs that my neighbor’s found on the lakeside. They called and asked me if my “chicken” friends might have an incubator they would let them put the eggs in, [...] Hello Ladies! I hope everyone is doing great this week. Please remember to extend your condolences to Marilyn Moll on the loss of her husband Duane. If you don’t know the name she is the UrbanHomemaker. I’ve been very sad over this since finding out…I remind myself I’ve not yet (May [...] What’s Cookin’ or Not?! As spring is among us and summer is approaching my family and I slowly steer away from the big hot dinners and more to the salads, sandwiches and fresh fruit. We’ll be doing lots of canning and preserving foods this summer, so I won’t feel like cooking big meals every night like [...] |
