High School Years

This is the first year of high school for us.  For me, as my daughter’s teacher, I’m determined to keep a positive outlook and not let the struggles get us down.  We really haven’t had a set curriculum for the past years but this year some of our work is published by Bob Jones.  We’ll be doing Saxon Math and Answers in Genesis Creation Studies for Science and Biology.  My daughter is wanting to do an internship in Sign Language Interpreting at the local Elementary School, they have dire need for someone, however, she does need a lot more practice and this too would allow her to work with a professional Interpreter.  This is another year also of using HSLDA’s Civic Studies that are very inexpensive and online.  I haven’t decided what sort of schedule we’ll be going by and most likely since she is a very independent worker she’ll be up early and get done with her studies by 2pm.
